The Salmon Industry IS NECESSARY FOR SOUTHERN CHILE
The economic development of the salmon industry has been very significant for southern Chile, in addition to its great contribution to regional employment. It also provides employment for a significant number of women and young people.
Its extensive value chain has led to the appearance of over 4,000 new service suppliers to salmon farming.
Training
Various companies and SalmonChile have provided training opportunities to improve the skills and employability of our current and future workers, in order to strengthen human capital in the sectors where we operate.

UNION AFFILIATION
The salmon industry strongly values the right of employees to organize themselves and to defend and promote their common interests. Furthermore, the industry regularly meets with various workers federations, in order to progress projects in common, focusing on dialog and ensuring that all benefit.
